Our Staff

Joey Lovejoy

Not quite your traditional route into catering, after graduating from University, with a First Class Masters Degree, he joined the Ministry of Defence. After 5 years he left to follow his passion for food, and continue the family business into its third generation.

He originally joined his Uncle, Head Chef William Rose, and trained as a chef but, due to expansion, Joey is now at the helm and oversees the delivery of every event. Joey is passionate about providing top quality service to match your event. He approaches each event with great dedication and enthusiasm.

Joey is a qualified, and award winning, Project Manager, trained Chef and a member of the Institute of Hospitality.

Ryan Lane

Head Chef Ryan Lane has worked up the ranks from Apprentice Chef to the role of Head Chef. He was first approached by Roamers Caterers for his keen interest in, and passion for, cooking and food.

Since Ryan’s arrival he has taken like a duck to water and is a real influence in the kitchen, ensuring the team always delivers great quality food and service, consistently. Ryan’s skill in the kitchen is impressive and he’s dedication to improving the food we serve is commendable. Ryan is always looking to improve the quality of our food.

Ryan is a member of the Institute of Hospitality and a qualified Chef.

Tracy Chambers

Tracy joined us in April 2017 looking for a change in direction from her distinguished role for BAE Systems.

Tracy is your main point of contact with our experienced events team. She is committed to providing excellent customer service and ensuring each event is delivered to our high standards. Her experience organising and delivering events means she is well placed to help guide you on the planning of your day.

Our Team Leaders

Our team leaders are your friendly face, and line of communication with the kitchen. They will ensure our service staff make sure your guests enjoy every moment of your event. Nothing is too much for them.

Our team leaders consist of Sarah, Denise, Caroline, Genna and Jorden. With over 50 years of experience catering at a variety of venues, and events, you can be sure you, your guests and your event are in good hands.

Our Event Chefs

We select only the best Event Chefs from around Essex, and surrounding areas, to ensure your event is delivered to only the  highest standard. Our Event Chefs have a breadth of experience catering for small or large events, so you can be sure your event is in very safe hands.

Our Prep Chefs and Prep Assistants

Our preparation team are a mixture of qualified Chefs and in-house trained staff with no previous experience, both with a keen commitment to quality. The key to successful delivery is the pre-event preparation and our prep team understand the importance of that so make certain each item is prepared to perfection.

The Front of House Team

Our front of house team consists of a variety of members with a diverse and broad ranging skill set and experience. Every team member that joins our team is put through a rigorous trial and induction to ensure they provide only the best experience, for you and your guests, at your event.

To help support your event we use suppliers to provide us with the additional resources we require. You can be sure that every supplier we use has been hand selected because the share the same professionalism, service levels and demonstrate a strong commitment to quality.
