You don’t need lots of experience (we provide the training) but you do need to be energetic, enthusiastic and dedicated to delivering to the highest standards. Additionally, you will be presentable, positive and have excellent spoken English.

SOUS CHEF

Our chefs are the key to our success and you will be responsible for all the food and your events. You will be the face of Roamers to the client so we are looking for enthused and energetic chefs with a passion for food delivery and communication to their team.

Responsibilities
Prepare, cook and present great food in accordance with our standards.
Complete all associated food preparation and health and safety paperwork.
Team training and development.
Taking pride in maintaining highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
Adhere to safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
Having fun leading the team to ensure the best guest experience.

Minimum Requirements
Three years industry experience.
An enthusiasm to learn and grow with the business.
Intermediate to advanced chef skills.
Full clean driving licence and own transport.
Excellent English (written and spoken).

Hours
Core hours are Tuesday to Saturday, with occasional work on Sunday and Monday, depending on events.

OTE circa £25k for the right candidate including attractive salary and bonus scheme.

PART TIME GENERAL ASSISTANT

This is a perfect role for a candidate who is looking for additional work, without a big time commitment.

Responsibilities
Assisting the team with basic duties, such as food preparation, washing-up and administration tasks.
Complete basic waiting duties, including food and beverage service, dealing with minor customer queries and clearing tables.
Ensuring our customers’ have a great experience.
Having fun being part of an effective team.

Minimum Requirements
Willingness to learn and help the business grow.
Flexible – willing to work overtime and shifts.

Two years in any industry.

Hours
Wednesday to Friday. 10 hours per week between 9am and 6pm – flexible shifts.

Pay up to £8.25 per hour. Pay based on age and experience.

FREELANCE & EVENT CHEFS

Are you experienced and confident Chef, looking for extra cash to supplement your current job? Or are you a retired chef looking for a bit of pocket money? Are you adaptable, able to deliver deadlines and proud of the food you cook? If so, then this is the role for you.

Pay up to £22 per hour, depending on age and experience.

PART TIME WAITRESS / WAITER

Responsibilities
Complete basic waiting duties, including food and beverage service, dealing with minor customer queries and clearing tables.
Ensuring our customers’ have a great experience.
Having fun being part of an effective team.

Minimum Requirements
Two years in any industry.

Hours
3.5 hours per week – Thursday 11.30am-3.00pm.

Pay up to £8.25 per hour. Pay based on age and experience.

FOOD PRODUCTION OPERATIVE / FOOD PREPARATION ASSISTANTS

Do you have a passion food? Can you consistently work to tight deadlines and high-quality standards? Do you want to undertake a second role that’s flexible to your schedule? We’re always on the lookout for “prep assistants” to join our busy kitchen. Have the right attitude but don’t have the advanced skills? That’s not a problem, as we have a great in-house training scheme available.

Hours
Usually, Thursday to Saturday between 8.00am and 2.00pm – flexible shifts.

Pay up to £8.25 per hour (plus holiday pay of approx. 12% extra). Pay dependent on age and experience.

CASUAL WAITRESS / WAITER

Hours
Usually between Wednesday and Sunday between 11.00am and 8.00pm – are dependent on events. Work is casual so the hours are flexible to your lifestyle,

Pay up to £8.50 per hour (plus holiday pay of approx. 12% extra). Pay based on age and experience.

COMMIS CHEF

This is a perfect role for a candidate who is either newly qualified or who is less experienced in the industry but looking for a new challenge. Working directly with the Head Chef and MD will be a great learning opportunity for you.

Responsibilities
Complete basic food preparation duties, including vegetables, buffet items and starters, to defined quality standards.
Complete all associated food preparation, health and safety paperwork.
Provide chef support at events.
Manage deliveries and stock levels.
Load and unload the van for events.
Create event load lists and buying lists.
Having fun being part of an effective team.

Minimum Requirements
One year in any industry.
Basic chef skills are desirable, however, training will be given.
Full clean driving licence and own transport.

Hours
Thursday to Sunday, 20 hours per week – overtime available.

Pay up to £8,320 per annum. Pay based on age and experience.

BARMAN / BARMAID

Usually Thursday to Sunday between 12.00pm and 8.00pm – dependent on events

Pay up to £10.00 per hour (plus holiday pay of approx. 12% extra). Pay dependent on age and experience.
