Our Staff

Managing Director – Joey Lovejoy

Not quite your traditional route into catering, after graduating from University, with a First Class Masters Degree, he joined the Ministry of Defence. After 5 years he left to follow his passion for food, and continue the family wedding and event catering business into its third generation.

He originally joined his Uncle, Head Chef William Rose, and trained as a chef but, but due to expansion, Joey is now at the helm and oversees the delivery of every event. Joey is passionate about providing top quality service and catering to match your event. He approaches each event with great dedication and enthusiasm.

Joey is a qualified, and award winning, Project Manager, trained Chef and a member of the Institute of Hospitality.

Head Chef – Gareth Watkins

Having worked as Head Chef at well respected restaurants and numerous event venues in Essex, Chef Gareth has a wealth of experience providing a variety of cuisines for events of all sizes.

Gareth is a conscientious and professional chef who has a passion for creating amazing food. Gareth understands the importance of providing exceptional catering at each individual event and always aims to exceed your expectations.

Gareth loves his food, when not in the kitchen at work he can be found trialling new recipes or covered in mud clambering over obstacles in a field.

 

Events Manager – Sasha Hughes

Sasha has over 8 years experience organising and managing events, catering from 50 up to 1000 people, so she understands her responsibility for the preparation and management of each event. She has excellent planning skills, a genuine enthusiasm to please every customer and is hard-working by nature. These skills, coupled with her can-do attitude, ensure you and your event are in safe hands.

When not organising events, Sasha can be found cutting shapes on the dancefloor or spending quality time with her family and friends, often mixing the two.

 

Our Team Leaders

Our team leaders are your friendly face, and line of communication with the kitchen. They will ensure our service staff make sure your guests enjoy every moment of your event. Nothing is too much for them.

Our team leaders consist of Sarah, Catherine, Caroline, Genna, Elise and Jorden who have over 50 years of experience catering at a variety of venues and events. From wedding catering, to barbecue catering and Christmas parties, you can be sure that you, your guests and your event are in good hands.

Our Event Chefs

We select only the best Event Chefs from around Essex, and surrounding areas, to ensure your event is delivered to only the highest standard. Our Event Chefs have a breadth of experience catering for small or large events, so you can be sure your event is in very safe hands.

Our Prep Chefs and Prep Assistants

Our preparation team are a mixture of qualified Chefs and in-house trained staff with no previous experience, both with a keen commitment to quality. The key to successful delivery is the pre-event preparation and our team understand the importance of that so make certain each item is prepared to perfection.

The Front of House Team

Our front of house team consists of a variety of members with a diverse and broad ranging skill set and experience. Every team member that joins our team is put through a rigorous trial and induction to ensure they provide only the best experience, for you and your guests, at your event.

To help support your event we use suppliers to provide us with the additional resources we require. You can be sure that every supplier we use has been hand selected because the share the same professionalism, service levels and demonstrate a strong commitment to quality.
