Pre-Planning

The perfect event
We appreciate each event is different, so we take the time to get to know you and understand what you’re looking for. As part of our highly rated event planning service, we offer a free fact find call to discuss and understand your plans and offer advice based on over 60 years of running events.

Pre-Event

The Countdown
To help you with your planning, as part of your booking paperwork, you get a bespoke event timeline. This outlines every milestone so you are prepared for every step of your planning journey, which takes away all the worry and any last-minute panics. You’ll also receive a nominated Pre-Event Manager who will be your point of contact to guide you through the planning of your big day.
Attention to detail
We want to give you the confidence in what we’ll deliver so provide you with your bespoke Event Information Sheet. This document captures all the little details that will make your special day one to remember.
Dotting the i’s, crossing the t’s
As we approach your event, we hold a finalising session with you to run through your updated plans and ensure everything is in place to make your day perfect. After the session we will provide you with your bespoke finalised Event Information Sheet as a record of what has been agreed, avoiding any issues on the day. We’ll also provide you with a copy of this outlining exactly what we will deliver to on the day.

Event

Running your event
On the day you are allocated an experienced senior member of staff who has been through our rigorous selection process and passed our Team Leader training. They will be your point of contact on the day, there to assist with any queries you may have.

"Roamer provided our catering and bar service for our wedding in June 2019, they were excellent from start to finish Jen and Joey have been there to help throughout, On the day I knew I didn't have to worry, every part of the day went smoothly thanks to them and their team.

The food was delicious and very well presented, all of our guests commented on how great the food was, we also had the fish/chips and bacon rolls for our evening option which went down extremely well.

As soon as I began conversations around the event, they helped with everything from suggesting menus that would work with my guests to timings to how they good serve everyone and prepare given the space. In all seriousness I was at a fundraiser for Kids Inspire hosted by Roamers and it was superb. Raffle, silent auction and casino were fantastic and I may be a little biased as I won a raffle prize!

The food was top quality with good portion sizes and each course delivered in appropriate time. It was just such a welcoming experience and raising money for charity that I left happy.

The chef Dan’s food was absolutely show stopping, delicious and beautifully presented! Our Venues

Roamers Caterers are proud to continue to provide our specialist wedding catering services alongside the award winning Crabbs Barn, a family run wedding venue well known for its premier service and excellent atmosphere. Brandy Hole

We are delighted to be one of the catering providers at Brandy Hole. Brandy Hole is an event space, situated in the South East of Essex, boasting some of the most glorious views on the river crouch. The perfect place to hold your wedding, private party or special occasion.

Hamptons Sports & Leisure

The newly built facilities at Hamptons Sports and Leisure, offer a fully flexible and affordable venue for your wedding. We have a number of specific packages for your event, let Roamers Caterers help guide you through the planning of your special day.

Hylands House

We are proud to have been selected by the award winning Hylands Estate, Chelmsford, to provide our professional catering services. Having been the first wedding caterer to provide our services at Hylands House, we are best placed to run your special day from post ceremony until the evening reception.

Reid Rooms

As one of the top barn venues located to the west of Chelmsford, The Reid Rooms Wedding Venue is an idyllic venue to hold your big day. Whether you require an informal gourmet barbecue, or more formal 3 course meal, we are on hand to offer our range of event catering services for you and your guests.

Marks Hall

Marks Hall is an 18th Century Jacobian country house with it’s own garden, located in the quaint village of Coggeshall. If you’ve got the venue booked as a venue only hire then we can provide our specialist wedding catering services to make sure your day is run smoothly from start to finish.

Langtons House

Langtons is a grade II listed 18th Century house with landscaped gardens located in Hornchurch. Whether you require the catering only, a company to run the bar for you, or both, we are on hand to help you with your event.

Private Venues

Not only do we offer our outside event management, catering and bar services at bespoke event venues, but also at various locations, including customer’s homes, rural land and family estates in fixed buildings and marquees. These venues often save you quite a bit of money, but require additional organising and management. Luckily, our breadth of experience in managing and supporting events in these venues will ensure your special day is a success.

As an outside caterer we offer our catering services all across Essex, at a number of different venues in different locations. Here are a number of other notable venues we have catered, and can cater, at: Great Bardfield Vineyard, Great Bardfield; Barnston Lodge, Barnston; Barleylands, Billericay; Wantisden Valley, Suffolk; Galleywood Heritage Centre, Galleywood; The Shire Hall, Chelmsford; Houchins Farm, Coggeshall.
